Originally shaped for Taj Burrow's father Vance, the MOAB is a high-volume alternative board that provides a huge amount of extra paddle power, whilst still maintaining the manoeuvrability and feeling of a performance shortboard when underfoot.
With a generous amount of volume distributed from nose to tail, paddling is effortless, wave entry is easier, and with a sophisticated chine under the rails this model has more float, more speed and superior control. The MOAB easily glides across fat sections, provides stability in critical moments, and maintains the right amount of drive and bite to easily make directional changes and tight turns.
The versatility of this board design allows it to be surfed in a wide range of conditions, from small average days to overhead and pumping. The MOAB is a the perfect surfboard for mature surfers who need a little extra volume and stability, and want to increase their wave count to make every surf session more enjoyable and more fun.
